Transparency in Learning and Teaching (TILT)

Home Transparency in Learning and Teaching (TILT)

"Transparency in Learning and Teaching (TILT) is an educational framework for engaging teachers and students in communicating about how students are learning, how they can apply their learning in real-world situations in their lives after college, and why instructors develop learning experiences in the specific ways they choose.

The TILT Framework serves to frame those conversations, help teachers make evidence-based choices about instructional strategies, and to support students’ critical thinking about their learning before they begin a learning activity or project" (Winkelmes, 2013)
