    Seeking undergraduate course instructors

    Help us pilot a short, research-based formative evaluation tool to gather valid, reliable, and actionable feedback on teaching. We are recruiting instructors across disciplines and course structures (e.g., large lectures and smaller discussion-based classes). Each instructor will need to be teaching an undergraduate course with no fewer than 20 students in Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 to participate.

    Attend an Elevate Fellows Info Session

    Come learn about Elevate Fellows! This year-long professional development program is open to any full-time faculty members and instructors interested in receiving up to $8,000 to redesign an undergraduate course to implement more evidence-based, active learning strategies. Applications for the 2018 Elevate cohort are due Nov. 10.

    The Fearless Teaching Framework (FTF) is a conceptual model of an effective course based on decades of educational theory and empirical reserach. The four pieces of effective courses — climate, content, practice, and assessment — can work in tandem to promote student achievement and learning.
