Danielle oversees and coordinates the TLTC's Guided Study Sessions program. She works closely with student leaders to create inclusive, collaborative, and active learning communities in which students work through difficult course concepts together.
Danielle holds a M.Ed. in Secondary Education from Towson University and a B.S. in Forest Resources and Environmental Conservation from Virginia Tech. Prior to her time at the University of Maryland, Danielle worked on a retention initiative at Towson University to strengthen the learning skills of students on academic probation. She has also held several positions teaching and mentoring students. Danielle's professional interests include peer educator development, active learning, formative assessment, instructional technology, and Universal Design for Learning.
