Dawn Simounet

Learning Experience Designer

In her role as a Learning Experience Designer, Dawn facilitates the TLTC grant process, designs workshops, and works with instructors one on one to leverage different teaching strategies. Dawn is passionate about integrating pedagogical practices in ways that promote meaningful learning experiences.

Dawn holds an M.Ed in Higher Education Administration from Loyola University Chicago and a B.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland College Park. Prior to joining the TLTC she worked in various areas of higher education developing and facilitating undergraduate student leadership development programs, creating and assessing student learning outcomes, and overseeing new student orientation.

Dawn loves to support instructors with course design, experiential learning and community partnerships, and authentic pedagogies. She is an expert on UMD’s teaching and learning grants. You may want to book a consultation with her to talk about any of these areas.
