Spend the day with colleagues and TLTC staff to learn about evidence-based teaching practices and apply them to your own course design. We will engage in the process of backward design by writing effective learning outcomes, planning equitable assessments, and exploring ideas for student engagement. Other topics include syllabus construction, using ELMS to support student learning, creating a more inclusive classroom climate, and attending to issues of academic integrity. If you have a course that you're designing, redesigning, or just thinking about creating, bring your materials to work on and get helpful feedback. Lunch will be provided.
